Lower legs: Boss Fight Studios Walnut Brown "blank" figure
Boot-Tops: Boss Fight Studios wristbands
The Rest: Marauders Task Force parts

2004 V2 Alpine is a strangely civilian-looking figure, more akin to the old Adventure Team Joes or even Fisher Price's Adventure People. You never got many Joes wearing shorts. The figure was always intriguing to me because of that, so I knew I wanted to try to recreate him using MTF parts. He was a bit difficult to realize as there currently are no MTF shorts-wearing legs. I knew I would have to employ some Boss Fight Studios (or BFS) parts. Joining the lower legs of a BFS blank with the MTF "Command-Ops" red upper legs was, as you would guess, very crude. I'm very glad V2 Alpine wears knee pads as it allowed me to hide the horrible mis-match between parts. I chose oversized pouches for Alpine. I figured a mountain trooper would need a lot with him. The rope is just some random nylon twine I found in my toolbox.
