Darklon is definitely a bonkers figure. Sometimes the driver figures, because they aren't necessarily the focus of the toy, have some really crazy ideas. This figure really fits the bill. He's very asymmetrical with shoulder armor on just one arm. He has one black glove, one green glove. He has just one wristband. He's got that weird grenade bundle wrapped around one boot. The colors are pretty out-there, too...especially being an Iron Grenadier. I wouldn't have put a lime green "sweater" with red pants and then top it all off with orange boots.
Sure, he's bonkers...but I like him. For this custom, I kind of mixed his first version with his more armored-up second version, adding the black armor vest to break up all that green.
