I wasn't the biggest fan of the original Frostbite (although the Snow Cat is a classic). He was just kinda bland, but being a vehicle driver, I never had any expectation that he would be anything special. Cut to 1993, Frostbite V3 was an unexpectedly good looking figure (minus the "Just For Men" beard color change for the second time)
When planning my custom, I knew my sculpting skills were non-existent, so I wanted to keep away from sculpting fur. Looking online, I saw that Boss Fight Studios had a fur part for the neck, so I figured I would try it out. It's built without consideration for Marauders figures, of course, so there was a good bit of cutting and modding. It still doesn't look the way I want it, but I knew I needed to stop fiddling with it or I'd ruin it. On the original figure, the fur is only meant to be a small rim around a hood. On my figure, the fur is much more substantial and makes the coat seem much huskier. I painted the knit hat gray, the vest accents green, the grenades orange (and had to glue them to the vest), and the boots brown.
