The original '91 Grunt is nothing if not casual. I mean, this guy looks like he's heading to the mall on his day off. Who at Hasbro approved this figure? He's got an open short sleeve shirt...or jacket. I still can't tell exactly what it is. And, yikes, those pants!
I've tried to emulate the original figure with this custom, Marauders doesn't really have an open shirt torso quite like Grunt's, so I had to use a black T-shirt torso and sculpt a wide open collar onto the torso. I then painted the torso brown to make it look like a collared shirt over a black T-shirt. The small blue stickers are from a G.I.Joe Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser sticker sheet. I gave the pants a full coat of paint of orange/yellow to make them look more vintage appropriate. I understand that both shirt and pants look less-than-professionally done
