I value the Valor vs Venom era. Whatever problems the line may have had, it's really the last gasp of G.I.Joe having any new ideas (minus, of course, the Pursuit of Cobra line). After VvV, all G.I.Joe is a rehash of what has come before. 25th Anniversary, 30th, 50th, Walmart Retro, Classified...all are just revisiting the past. JvC and VvV at least tried new ideas.
Jinx is a perfect example of what can go right with a figure. Her New Sculpt era look is arguably just as popular or, dare I say, even more popular than her original look. It could be argued that Jinx's blindfold look is her iconic look.
