This is a simple kitbash/LBC. Only the two small arm pockets have been painted.

I love the 1982 Joes. There aren't enough good things to say about the first wave of Joes. They will always hold a special place in my heart. Grunt is the first Joe I ever got, so he is special to me. Flash is my favorite from that first wave, so he is also special to me. Short Fuse is the dark horse of the first wave. He is special to me as well. Zap was the last 1982 Joe I got and was the hardest to find. He is special to me as well.

Now, having said that, I will say that - design wise - the OG's are pretty bland compared to later years. I think that's safe to say. Zap does have his bright spots, however. His uniform is light green color which sets him apart. His Bazooka makes him a heavy-hitter, so that's cool. He had the best backpack for that year.

The three things I don't like about Zap are 1.) He has that horrible head sculpt. 2.) The figure does not have the mustache. 3.) His THUMBS! God, those thumbs!

My kitbash of Zap has none of those problems.
