I had ordered a cast head of 50th Destro a while back and promptly forgot about doing so. It came in the mail the other day and I wanted to do something slightly different. At first, figured I would do an Armor-Tech version of Destro, but I found that the idea didn't excite me as much as it should.

I hate painting anything gold, so I wanted to stay away from Destro's V2 Iron Grenadier version (although I have placed him in the Iron Grenadiers section as I feel this ceremonial version of Destro is less of an enemy and more of a respected adversary).

I also chose the silver version of Destro because I like using the chrome pen. Well, without any real plan for this guy, I figured I would try something a little more ceremonial.

The torso and waist of the figure are Marauders parts, but the legs of the figure are BFS as I needed to show bare legs. Mixing certain parts from the two companies is still a bit complicated, so I just decided to dremel the leg holes a little bigger to click onto the MTF waist. Not perfect, but an easy and fairly secure solution.

The Marauders beret is woefully undersized for this head cast (and I also wanted it to sit at an extreme angle), so a drop of hot glue under the beret was needed.

Side note: Cloth tartan swatches are almost all wool, so I knew going in that cutting the cloth to size was also going to make it unravel. That is just the nature of the beast. I have tried to hide the unraveling as much as possible. Also, since there is no real McCullen tartan, I tried to use a tartan that was close to the name, I think this particular tartan registry is the modern MacFarlane Clan
