But only one set of each. Ever.

Should any of their gear fail, weapon break or run out of ammo while in the field, they must fix it or steal it. This makes the Range Viper one of the most resourceful Cobra Troopers the Joes face. This can be a double edged sword for Cobra, however. The more vicious Range Vipers are not above hitting Cobra supply depots or killing embedded Crimson Guardsmen for the cash they are know to keep in reserve.
