Following his return from "death", Cobra Commander set into motion plans to purge Cobra of traitors, sychophants, and failures. After retaking control of Cobra Island and its arms manufacturing, he turned his eyes to Destro and the Baroness. With careful planning, the Commander put the gears in motion to exact his revenge on his former comrades. When the time came for the campaign to begin, the Commander donned a new uniform to mark the beginning of a new era for Cobra.
