To continue with the story line for the upcoming comic, Destro and one of his assassins steal a suit that Scrap Iron and Dr. Mindbender were making and escapes their fortress in an unknown object. Five ears later, THE WRAITH surfaces and starts terrorizing the Joes and Cobra.

Cobra Commander enlists the help of Storm Shadow to combat this enemy. In addition, General Hawk also enlist the aid of Snake Eyes to help Storm Shadow to combat THE WRAITH.
