Head, chest/back, & waist: ARAH Jinx
Arms, lower legs: Chun Li
Upper legs: ARAH Cover Girl
Backpack: ARAH Quick Kick
Sword: Pirates of the Caribbean?
Bladed Staff: Ninja Battles Playset

Design:

This figure began as Ophelia, but I was unable to find a head choice that suited the character. I decided to use the Jinx head and make it into a Jinx repaint loosely based on the Devil's Due version. I used the tech-heavy upper legs of Cover Girl to "modernize" the look, even if they are now 25+ years old.

The sword design isn't really appropriate to Jinx, but it was one of the few swords I could find. Plus, it fits the Quick Kick backpack.

Colors & Painting:

I didn't really get the bondage look that Devil's Due developed for Jinx, but it didn't bother me too much. Instead of a high-gloss/leather black for the uniform base color, I went for a very unrealistic, but fun, black/metallic silver mix. Most of my customs are relatively "realistically" colored, but sometimes it's enjoyable to cut loose a bit. The gear was then painted with the shiny black, which compliments the black/silver rather nicely.

I kept the original flesh/eyes, but added a bit of burgundy on the eyelids to look like makeup.

The some of the buttons on the leg computer are red as a nod to the original Jinx figure. Other are purple and pink. Why not?

Modifying & Sculpting:

The original Jinx figure came with a backpack, but there were no straps on her gi to support one. I added a strap across the chest/back so that the backback wouldn't look like it was attached by magic. The belt front is also reworked.

The hands were conditioned holding the staff for several days to reshape the thumb grip.

Thanks for looking.
