Body: POC 2 pack Copperhead
Head: 2000's reissue Ambush

Brit served with "the Black Group" within M Squadron for the duration of the prolonged nastiness with the Russians in Afghanistan, back in the days when the bad guys wore uniforms. As a trainer for mujaheddin and indigenous forces, he proved that he knew exactly how to eke the most fight out of the worst equipment, and the most rag tag, untrained and often incompetent fighters.

As age caught up with Brit, British forces no longer saw the value of having a man of his unique skills wearing the jack while toting a stolen AK74 in the service of the Queen. In turn, having been served his papers, Brit didn't feel too much love for the "Empire" anymore and turned in his commission for a Cobra uniform.

This was an attempt to use a pretty cool looking body with a head that had a perfectly matching skin tone. While the 2000 era RAH figures often don't work with vintage or more modern coloring, they were a dead match here. I used a digital caliper to measure the neck ball, a band saw to cut off the neck ball and a drill press to create the neck column. The whole custom took less than 3 minutes to complete.

I didn't follow the Hasbro standard of a larger ball socket at the top of the neck chamber but the column works just fine for mobility and keeping the head secure.

Of note, the RAH heads are very large in proportion to the new 25th/ROC/POC sculpts, so you have to match them carefully if you are going to swap between the older vintage and the newer stuff. The Roadblock torso that this is based on is a very large base figure, so I believe that the parts scale well and look good together.
