The Smoker has been heavily mutated by a strain of the Infection and frequently makes high-pitched rasping and coughing noises that can alert Survivors of its presence.
It's long, whip-like tongue can be launched out of it's mouth at high speeds to ensnare Survivors, wrapping around the target's body and dragging them back toward the Smoker, where it attempts to claw and pummel it's victim to death.
Though it resembles most Common Infected, it is taller, more durable, and it's skin has become covered in growths that cause little spurts of green smoke and blood. Also, a large musky green cloud forms when ruptured upon death. It is said that the smoke it expels gives off a putrid smell, but is otherwise harmless. It's face is bloated and appears to be covered by a large tumor.
