Always bragging that he had made it to the "Big Time" when he was given his Officer rank, his subordinates started calling him that. He would overhear it from time to time and write it off as jealousy from the troops. When he and Obsidian were chosen from the trooper ranks to join the new Python Patrol the nickname followed and no matter how he tried to change it, Bigtime became his new name. He began to resent the name and he blamed Cobra for it. His new hatred played into Destro's plan for the Python Patrol perfectly. It's just a matter of time before Bigtime snaps and is ready to lead the assault against The Cobra Hierarchy himself.
