With the high tech needs like satellite communication and low-tech needs like heavy fire support, the line of SEALbots was created for the G.I. Joe dedicated S.E.A.L. team, Team 17.

The TOAD is a heavily armored robot that is designed to haul gear/ammo/weapons, carry wounded, be used as a forward recon scout, set to provide heavy cover fire for withdrawal/retreat/escape, get Intel via satellite links, work as a repeater/encrypter for communications between team members, the list goes on.

The TOAD is based on the Cobra B.A.T. v.5 that was captured and reverse engineered by Mainframe and Hard Drive.
