After looking over the Cobra roster I decided Major Bludd would be an easy figure to create in Sigma 6 form. Originally I was going to use a Cobra Commander body with the Long Range head but the more I looked at the 3 3/4" figures the more I liked the idea of modifying the Long Range body for Bludd.

I took the right forearm of Cobra Commander and added it to the Long Range body for Bludd's bionic arm. Then I cut off the Sigma suit ports, filled them with Sculpey, sculpted the eye patch, moustache and goatee and the modifications were finished. The body got a coat of flat black paint with brown accents. I took a silver Sharpie to the bionic arm to make it look more like a robot arm. In order to differentiate the coat from Long Range's I gave it a quick coat of brown Sharpie with some black Sharpie accents. I trimmed down the Cobra Commander helmet and gave it a coat of flat black paint. I was really surprised to see how well it fit the Long Range head. I didn't have to modify it to fit at all.

Also I added a Ninja B.A.T. chest plate for some added armor and to give the Sigma suit a different look. Add in some 1/6 scale weapons and a few other little parts and there he is in all his bad poetry spoutin' glory.

Sigma File Bio -

Code Name: Major Bludd
Real Name: Bludd, Sebastian
Mercenary

Primary Military Specialty: Mercenary
Secondary Military Specialty: Weapons and Tactics

Sebastian Bludd grew up in a middle class family in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. His father was a successful salesman who moved from job to job, often selling out his current employer for a larger paycheck from a competitor. It was this example that formed the mercenary side of Bludd's personality. His mother was a writer and teacher and taught her son to appreciate the classics.

Bludd developed a love of poetry from his mother and enrolled in university majoring in English literature. However he had no talent for writing and his horrible poetry earned him the ridicule of his peers and failing grades from his professors. Realizing that his poetry would never be appreciated in the modern world, he dropped out of university and enlisted in the Australian SAS (Special Air Service) where he learned quickly and rose to the rank of major before a better offer came along from the French Foreign Legion. Bludd's tour of duty in the Foreign Legion introduced him to some of the most notorious warlords and renegade armies in the world and it was one of these warlords that tempted him away from the Legion and into his first true mercenary job.

Bludd spent the next several years moving around the world, working as a military consultant to many dictators and hostile governments often switching sides in the middle of a conflict when the opposition made him a better offer. At one point Bludd was recruited by the C.I.A. as an assassin. During a mission for the C.I.A. Bludd lost his lower right arm when the rifle he was issued but the agency jammed and backfired. He went to an arms dealer named Destro whom he had encountered a few times in the past to obtain a new bionic arm.

As a result of his actions and affiliations, Bludd is wanted in over a dozen countries and by the United Nations for war crimes. His reputation as a soldier and tactician grew and eventually came to the attention of Cobra Commander. At the time of their first encounter, Bludd was working for a small island nation that Cobra would eventually take over. It was during this conflict that Bludd acquired the chest plate from a Cobra Ninja B.A.T. that he wears to this day. Cobra Commander, impressed with Bludd's ruthlessness immediately put Bludd on retainer.

While not an actual member of Cobra, Major Bludd holds a position in the Cobra hierarchy and is one of the Commander's most trusted advisors. Cobra Commander knows that he can trust Bludd as long as he remains the highest bidder for Bludd's services. When not needed by the Commander, Major Bludd continues to offer his services to whoever can afford them, always looking out for a better offer.
