Entire Figure:
Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow comic pack Storm Shadow

Bandolier, Belt, Backpack and Swords:
25th Anniversary Cobra 5 pack Storm Shadow

I did not want an off-white Storm Shadow. I wanted a bright, stark white Storm Shadow, without the gold trim and greyish wrappings on the legs and forearms and the pretty little O-ren Ishii sandals.

Too much detail. Do not want.

The original Storm Shadow was just white, with some black, silver, and flesh color. And a red Cobra insignia.

That was it. And he was awesome.

I soaked both figures in boiling hot water, carefully pulled the black belt off of the 5 pack version a few millimeters at a time. I then not so carefully ripped the blue belt off of the less decoed, more desirable comic pack figure. I tried RIT Dye on it for the heck of it, but it didn't come out very well.

I have a severe problem with some of the straps and web gear on these figures not staying where I put them. After gluing the black belt on, I also carefully glued the black bandoleer across his chest and shoulder so it wouldn't slide around and obscure his Cobra insignia anymore. I love this because he still has full range of motion in his torso but his bandoleer ain't going anywhere. It works on Cobra Soldiers too.

This is one of my favorite customs I've managed to somehow throw together. Once again getting away with not having to paint anything. I think It manages to capture the feel of the original figure pretty well. I just need nunchuks for him.

At some point I'm going to make another, but it'll have the quiver and sword sheaths removed so I can stick him on the Claw to go rescue Cobra Commander.

Hope you like him!
