Design:

The Guardians of Paradise appeared in the "Hot Potato" short story in Marvel Comics' GI Joe #1. The fanatical soldiers of Colonel Shariff, they attacked Scarlett and Snake-Eyes until Rock 'n Roll returned on a RAM and rescued them.

It was time again to use some wretched NS parts, in this case the Stalker legs. There were a few NS legs that better matched the comic book artwork, but none that worked with other parts (of either ARAH or ME formats). These figures aren't entirely comic book accurate. In the comic book, the GoP wore jackboots and their shirts were tucked into their trousers. On these customs the zig zag front seams on the trousers, along with the more contemporary boot design and untucked shirts, make them appear how the GoP might look in 2014 instead of in 1982.

Colors & Paint:

Based on the comic book. Instead of using simple white for the uniforms, the bodies were painted light grey, followed with a white wash / dry brushing to showcase the details a bit better and to make the material look a bit worn. I've used the Chuckles shirt before and removed the silly oversized buttons. This time around I didn't think about it until I was too far along with the paints. I didn't paint them to draw as little attention as possible.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The head attire and beards are sculpted.
