It's the year 2250. With certain minerals becoming scarce on Earth, The GI Joe team has been forced to begin to prospect other planets, moons, and asteroids. There are about a dozen hired prospectors and Dakota Fred is not only the most successful at finding resources, but also at staying alive. In a job that requires eluding Cobra patrols and often times talking your way out of sticky situations, he is hands down the best. To put it into perspective, the average life expectancy of a space prospector who begins at age 21 like Fred did is 35 years old, Dakota Fred has been on the job for 63 years.
