He's a re-deco of the Crimson Guard Commander fig, with some bits from a Stickfa Legionnaire fig and some BBI hands thrown in.

While the Grimson Guard are broken into 10 Watches of ten Guardsmen each and are numbered One thru Ten, no Watch has precedence over another in any official capacity. All the Guardsmen were equally loved by Caesar or else he wouldn't have hand-picked them to protect himself and his family.

But, due to the combative and 'weakness-winnowing' nature the Guard has adopted since the Empire fell, individuals will rise to influence the rest of the Guard thru any number of means, be they sheer persuasiveness or treacherous guile.

A direct father-to-son descendant of Julius Caesar's own First Watch Commander and the inheritor of a large Papal Estate in central Italy, Praetor is a strict traditionalist. Although reserved in nature, he is COBRA Commander's fiercest foe within the Guard, and purely on the nature of his defiance of Guard orthodoxy - the Guard were never meant to operate in the open as COBRA Commander has done by the creation of his independent mercenary army. He sides most often with OverLord, also a traditionalist. In order to keep up and maintain his position in the Guard, he has reluctantly begun recruiting his own mercenary army - the Praetorian Phalanx - and he flies his Imperial Eagle into combat.
