the Paladin:
Head: some BBI dude I chose for the pissed look.
Helmet/mask: Snow Wolf/Serpent. I filled the eyes with putty.
Torso: Depth Charge with paper sculpted for the paldron.
Arms & Pelvis: Barrage.
Wrist Gauntlets & legs: SS Ghost Rider plus hip balls from some random Joe.
Hands: Misc MM set.

The pistol's from the Wing Commander line, but don't ask which fig. The time bomb (thingus he straps across his chest) is the thing on the back of the JvC Iggy fig all cut out of that otherwise near-worthless fig.

Young Jupiter:
Hair: Kaz Takagi from the ExoSquad line
Head: Chap Mei kid that came with the ambulance set.
Body: Will Robinson from the Lost in Space movie line with Sculpy to make long sleeves.

In the latter days of the twenty-seventh century, the battle-scarred Earth is finally united under the rule of a single man; Orion Assante. His fifty-year reign as world monarch gives rise to a new class of military elite - the Grendels.

Grendels enjoy a privileged status in society and adhere to strict codes of military ethics. They are fanatically dedicated to honoring the will of their Khan - which they proclaim with the rallying cry "Vivat Grendel!" Since the death of Orion I, however, the warrior caste has become fragmented and clannish due to the lack of an immediate successor to the throne.

The rightful heir, Orion's only son Jupiter, has been cloistered away in an underground military complex deep in the Dakota Black Hills. His political captivity is at the hands of his stepmother, presiding regent Laurel Kennedy Assante; whose power-driven scheming has made a prisoner of her daughter Crystal, as well.

In his final days, Orion I initiated Project Athena, intending to create a warrior capable of protecting his young son until he came of age to assume the throne of all the world. This warrior was known as his Paladin, the Grendel-Prime.
