Ah, Snake Eyes. Everybody has done a custom of him. This was actually my first custom ever, made in 1998 or 1999. Christmas 1997, I got a HUGE bunch of Corps figures as a present. I wanted to make customs, but when you're barely 13 and a half, you can't really afford the cool stuff, so I settled. I got a Ninja Force Snake Eyes that same year, and decided that it sucked a lot. I played around with some parts combinations, but since I was lazy and inexperienced, my friend suggested I just use the black parts I had. So I did.
Originally, I just painted his eye scar, then painted a mask, but recently when I took out all my older Corps fodder, I decided to sculpt a real mask with epoxy. It looks a lot better, IMO. The goggles actually hold better with the mask adding some thickness to the face.
Overall, it's no Wave 7 Snake-Eyes, duh, but I'm still pleased with the outcome.
