Recoil is one of my predilects. But his hat was so "out of normal" that I needed to do something about it.
I gave a new "wardrobe" and more equipment. I don't have Recoil's backpack here, so I "retooled" one from Brazilian Recondo, adding the antenna in telephonic wire. I added a marauder flashlight and the M4, more common today than the old M-16A2.

I had some trouble to mold the jungle hat in epoxy, but the Dremel was very usefull to the final work.
