Flint was a Rhodes Scholar with a degree in English Literature from Cambridge. When the World Trade Center was attacked, he felt his priorities shifting away from Academia and decided to enlist. A top graduate of the Army's Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces and Flight Warrant Officer Schools, Flint has dedicated his life to serving his country with the same passion he once put into Beowulf.

Flint is a brilliant tactician and amazing soldier. Prior to joining the Joe team, he personally led and planned over half a dozen rescue missions for JSOC, and before that did stints in Delta and the Green Berets. He may occasionally come off as cerebral and wordy in a mission briefing, but he's a man of action, not words, when it counts.
