Everything & the kitchen sink!!!!

The Transportable Tactical Battle Platform was the only G.I. JOE base that I had as a child. I used it all the time. In fact it was so used that a lot of the pieces were broken. As a child it was awesome, I really can not recall wanting to change anything about it. However, as an adult customizer I saw things that needed to be changed.

The first thing that I wanted to change was to give it a roof, and of course the roof had to be removable. I liked the idea of the surface to air missiles and the dual barrel gatling guns, but wanted it to have a little more punch and to be operated by a gunner. I also wanted to have a place for gunner's stations for lighter weapons. I liked the idea of the original weapons racks, so I kept that idea while expanding on it. I gave my Bivouac 6 assault rifles, 2 shotguns, 2 FIM-92 Stinger missile systems, and 2 M-47 Dragon anti-tank systems. I also like the original crane. I can't tell you how many Cobra soldiers met their maker while hanging from that cable. I also liked the dock station so I decided to keep that as well. Of course a command center was needed and I added an extra chair.

The intent with this custom was to make a nice diorama that could also be used as a custom playset. Unfortunately some pieces have to be removed to use it, but I do not feel that this fault seriously detracts from the overall look and purpose of this custom.
