Raft: Manta Ray (1994)
Outboard: Manta Ray (1994) (Modified)
Chassis: AWE Striker (1985)
Primary Gun: Manta Ray (1994)
Secondary machine guns: The Corps

One thing I didn't like about the Manta Ray is the lack of protection the vehicle provided, since everyone necessarily had to stand up inside the craft.

I wound up with an AWE Striker unexpectedly, and immediately cannibalized the roll cage in hopes that I'll get the parts to try to duplicate DREMEL's Cheetah. A little experimenting with the chassis, and I found it fit exactly within the rubber raft.

I hacked off the Manta Ray's front end to preserve the 'flooring,' which the Striker chassis now holds in place, and a small dab of super glue keeps the outboard motor in place.

Tech notes: The Manta Ray retains versatile seating for several Joes, from three seated up to six or more if standing behind the central bar. The main cannon had to be limited to a 'forward only' mount, but in response R&D added two light machine guns that swivel a combined 360 degrees.
