Everything: 30th Anniv. Skystriker

I remember seeing a picture of an F15 Eagle in an issue Combat Aircraft that started out colored in aircraft gray and then burned into black towards the end. The image was so striking to me that I really wanted to try it out on one of the new Skystrikers.
Around the same time I had committed to providing a raffle/door prize to that year's GI Joe Assembly Required Meet up held in my own home town. I decided to make this as the prize to give away; it would allow me to make the jet just like I wanted and contribute something cool to the local community.

I really like how it turned out, it was a challenge like I had anticipated, but I thought the end product was really cool. I was really excited to donate as a prize, but I regret not being there at the time it was given away to see who won it. Whomever it was I hope they enjoyed it.

I would like to pick up another 30th Skystriker and try this out again to keep in my own collection!
