Tired of Cobra Commanders operational blunders and loss of valuable well trained pilots Xamot and Tomax took it upon themselve to create a new Squardron of Rattlers. These planes were fully funded by Extensive Enterprises and only receive the Orders from the Crimson Twins.

These new Rattlers called B.L.O.O.D. Rattlers (Ballistic Low Obersvation Ordinance Deployers) are far supior to the stock Rattlers. Each one has heavily modified engines which greatly increases its speed and manuervablility.

Each pilot is selected from the regular Crimson Gaurd Squad and given extensive training is dog fighting and air to air combat. Together they are one deadly combination for G.I. Joe.
