"The Incredibles" hoverdisc

In my Joeverse, the Red Shadows are going to become the home of the "weird science" theme, what with the legions of Kraken, Mutons, and Skeletrons. So, to me, it's easy to believe that Baron Ironblood has a UFO which he flies into battle.

A pair of 30 cal machine guns are mounted on the front. The hoverdisc may not be fast, but the entire outer ring can spin at devastating speeds, causing a rather intimidating swath of destruction.

And no, the ring cannot get lodged and cause the middle to start spinning instead. It's "Weird Science! (tm)"
