For a long time now I have wanted to make a Halo Warthog. After the new video game came out and getting addicted to driving the Warthog I decided it was finally time to make my own Warthog. At first I was just going to use existing vehicle pieces and try to assemble a vehicle that resembled a Warthog. However after doing a lot of research I realized quickly that I would never be able to get any parts that would even closely resemble a warthog without extensive modifications. With that in mind I decided that if I was going to spend the time to do this custom, then I should spend the time and do it right, making it as close to possible as the vehicle appears in the game.

I basically scratch built the entire vehicle shell from bits and pieces of MCC parts, cutting and gluing each panel piece on the entire outside of the vehicle. All the detail work was made using epoxy putty and the Suspension for all 4 wheels were built from scratch as well. The entire project took me almost 6 weeks from start to finish and over 40 hours of work on the construction and another 4 hours of painting. With all the time and money I have spent building this project it has become on the crown jewels of my custom vehicle collection.

If anyone would like to see the WIP pics I took along the way as I was building it please feel free to message me and I will send you a link that shows the project from start to finish.
