Jinx

16th Century Japan...

Descendant of a great line of ninja warriors, Jinx trained under her Arashikage cousin Storm Shadows in the family tradition. Though the ninjas were viewed as a religious sect by many samurai clans, some resorted to acknowledging their expertise and hiring them for various shadowy missions, many leading to assassinations. As the war between the Kenshu clan and Akito clan over land south of Tokyo ended in Kenshu victory, many Akito survivors felt that their way was lost and found themselves at the Arshikage doorstep for guidance. The Arashikage teachings helped them to find peace, to become one with themselves, and most of all to strike death from the shadows.

Jinx had finished her training and had one last task: assassinate the Shogan's the number one man, Budo. She infiltrated the palace under the guise of a geisha. There she became acquainted with the inner workings of the palace as well as those running them. She became close to Budo, seeing him daily either at a passing glance or a formal occasion. She became fond of the man and began questioning why she must take his life. On the night she was set to assassinate him, she strolled behind Budo through the courtyard. He turned to her and confessed his feelings for her. Her guard was down and her mission was over as far as she could fathom. She spoke of her feelings and reached out to embrace him. Just then the air separated as being cut by the sharpest blade. She fell into his arms limply as blood raced from the arrow that ahd pierced her back. Moments later she died in his arms as twisted shadows emerged from the trees.

When this idea was chosen for the GP, I was really excited because I had been planning on making Joe characters in this timeframe for a fan-fic/hopefully dio-story down the road. Both characters proved quite challenging. I originally had wanted to use cloth for parts of both Budo's and Jinx's outfits, but either my choice in cloth nor my inability to sew made me go other ways. With the cloth out of my realm, I searched through several parts boxes for something that would give Jinx the flowing look to her sleeves and skirt. I found a headless Chan. Valorum and went from there. I hope you enjoy. Check out Classified's Nunchuk, Storm Shadow, and Vypra for more figures and the continuing storyline from this timeframe.
