Aspidites are the royal hive drone slave race that were formerly the Royal Guard. After the world had been secured for Cobra-La an army of foot soldiers were not necessary. So they were
turned into builders, tradesman, and farmers of sorts. They are in charge of collecting specimens, transporting eggs and larva. Aspidites fill all those roles and more. they share
Nearly 100% DNA with the hive mantenance drones (beetles) and the TanCada (beasts of burdon), so they are very much in tune and have no problem working with them to run the various hive systems.

At the very beginning of this GP I reached out to pastnastification for someone to run ideas past and get some advice. Not only did he help me out he also wanted to contribute to the GP with his art.
He drew a whole awesome army of Aspidites!
