After the formation of Cobra Island, Cobra's ranks began to swell with recruits from Latin and South America and the Caribbean. Cobra's need for mercenaries and contractors became less. Some found new roles within the organization, others, who were still bound to Cobra for whatever reason, just hung around and tried to stay out of the spotlight, preferring the quiet, low risk life on the Island to higher profile and risk assignments. Copperhead fell into this category. He hung out on the docks of Cobra Island, helping out with boat engine repair and dock maintenance. Cobra rarely had operations requiring his expertise, but he was still indebted to them. So he stayed. Soon he began to host a poker game in a tool shed on the docks, open only to the other non-enlisted Cobra operatives. It was in these poker games that he developed a friendship with the ninja Storm Shadow, who was sympathetic to his position. Storm Shadow was also beholden to Cobra, and not a true believer. Now, any time Cobra does call on Copperhead for a mission, Storm Shadow rides the turret of the Water Moccasin,as a favor to his new friend.

I've wanted to use those arms for a Storm Shadow custom FOR EVER. This GP gave me the opportunity to do so, as well as tell a story from my GI Joe universe that I've never gotten around to sharing before.

To teach, improve, share, entertain and showcase the work of the customizing community.
