Cerveau
Outlaw
File Name: Unknown
Birthplace: Unknown
Cerveau first appeared several years ago on security footage from a British military base. He can be seen blowing a kiss to the camera and turning away with a flourish before the recording stops. While there is no proof that he stole several trucks, an attack helicopter, and emptied the armory, his presence in the recording was enough to convince most people. A massive, but covert manhunt was conducted but no trace of the man or equipment was found until a year later. Again, security footage shows him blowing a kiss while landing the the aforementioned attack chopper just prior to the theft of several million dollars in gold and currency from a prominent bank. In both incidents, no one was killed, though some members of security staff had been rendered unconscious. Since then Cerveau has appeared more frequently, always in commission of a crime.

Simply put we have no idea who Cerveau is. He shows up, he steals, he disappears. No warning, no trace. Investigations by dozens of agencies have led to naught but speculation. One thinks he might be a prominent magician, another a former Cobra or Red Shadow agent, Interpol has declined to draw conclusions. MI5 investigated any possible link to James McCullen Destro, but none could be found, despite the similarities in headgear. The only theory I've heard that rings true to me is that the man has brass ones so big that his mustache grew right through the metal of his mask.

This guy is unique in that he doesn't exist as an actual toy. Until now anyway. The European Force figures used generic cardbacks. One for the good guys, and one for the bad. The good guy art is basically just the ARAH Duke art, poorly traced and colored, but with the bad guy art, they inadvertently struck gold. Like the good guys, they took existing ARAH art, Destro's, and made it crappy. In trying to avoid getting sued they decided to add a few elements though, and settled on a mustache and a Mohawk. Now, I don't know about you, but "Destro with a mustache and Mohawk" is pretty high up on my list of "amazing things I never knew I needed until I had them". Oh, and they gave him swashbuckler boots. Or maybe they just spontaneously formed in response to the rest of the awesome going on.
