Cross Country
Cross Country

When G. I. Joe began their attack on the U.S., they needed to have support across the country. Cross Country and Thunder were sent to the Southeastern U. S. where they could blend in easier. They were given the task of finding corrupt local governments and further corrupting them. With local governments in their back pocket, G.I. Joe would have an easier time controlling the National Guard and any other help that could be provided by these small governments.

Cross Country can be one mean devil when provoked and being out from under the government now has given him more freedom to be provoked. He now drives through these small towns in his big ol' jacked up pickup just looking for someone to stand up to him. But somehow he is always able to gather a following in any small southern town he rolls into. With this following of good ol' boys, he shows the local government how they feel. He will organize rallies outside of the mayor's office, cause fights in town, or sabotage the local supplies. Whatever it takes to get the attention on him and his band of local misfits, while never mentioning G.I. Joe. After he has successfully got the attention on him, Thunder then steps in.

This figure came together easily. Based on almost everybody I grew up with but mostly my brother. I gave him the Dixie Outfitters t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off because that's the first thing my brother does to a t-shirt. The jeans and boots were a given with the look I was going for. I am really proud of how well the bandanna turned out. I went with the rebel flag bandanna since I went with an untucked shirt that covers any belt buckle he might have.
