Like Flagg and Austin, I wanted to make a character that had not been done before (not counting Flagg's comic pack). Venom was such a deserving character, and though a figure is planned, he has yet to see the light of day.

I almost went with the unnamed Cobra character in issue #1, but decided on Venom after Matt dropped him. I almost used another full body of Cobra Commander for this figure, but I wanted to try something a little different with the parts (and I did not have an extra Cobra Commander waist).

The waist gave me the opportunity to give venom the lab coat look, and I wanted to attempt painting Bludd's boots like long pants. All in all I feel I succeeded, but he still turned out the most boring figure of the three.
