Data: "Too often Cobra High Command members have escaped in aircraft and denied G.I. Joe their capture, that chapter will come to a close with the Off-Road Thunder Missile ATV. The Off-Road Thunder will be capable of carrying only a single G.I. Joe Team member, but the lack of personnel is made up for in firepower: Four surface-to-air/surface-to-surface missiles with directed detonation warheads. The simplicity of design the Off-Road Thunder has carries over into the controls both for driving the ATV and for launching its missiles, allowing someone to use it to a high degree of success with no previous experience and little training. In addition, with the removal of the missile battery, the Off-Road Thunder can be transformed into a two- to three-person scout ATV, allowing us to fulfill two seperate and distinct functions with one vehicle, reducing expediture of funds by at least three percent in comparison to the Pentagon's proposed "Assualt Quad" design; three percent tha! t will add quite quickly as vehicles are destroyed, a near certainty, due to the fact that the missile systems removed from scout-configuration Off-Road Thunders can be replaced or used on newly purchased units to further reduce costs.
