Most of the parts for this fell right into place. Faces' head was a perfect match with just a slight reworking of the beard with some paint; I mixed gray, white and black and dabbed and drybrushed it to recreate my goatee. The hair is Sculpy, molded while looking in the mirror; it came out surprisingly accurate, too! I added more Sculpy to bulk out the torso (and simulate my gut) but realized too late I'd given it a bit more chest than I have.

The pants I painted blue, then dry (and wet) brushed on shades of gray and white to give them a faded out look like my real jeans; the sneakers I did my best to replicate, and even scuff a bit to look worn. The suspenders were the next-to-final touch--I used strapping material you find at the craft store (for use on leather wallets, etc.) and glued it to the torso, then afterward carefully slit the along the shoulders so I could separate them. The glasses were the final part; I used Beav's method to create them, though it took about a dozen tries and required getting a second pair of pliers (which turned out to be VERY helpful in other areas). The twist tie is a bit thicker than a bread one, I think it's from the Venom Striker box. Stiffer and easier to use.

Everything you see on the figure is real, and pretty much how I look on a daily basis (yes, I really do wear suspenders all the time. It's sexy, kinda.)
