After fighting the Joe's mech and Overkill's new B.A.T.s, Cobra Commander had Destro and the Techno Vipers start working on a Mech suits. The Claw Mech was one of the first ones made and is highly successful in the field. With twin .30 calibor machine guns on both arms and the power claws, they can grab and rip apart B.A.T.s or small/light vehicles. With the Claw Mechs ability to extend their reach, they are a very dangerous threat to both Joe and Overkill's army.

I was not planning on doing a vehicle or mech suit. But after doing the Joe Mech, I needed to do something for Cobra. I liked the arms from the Sigma 6 mech, and they matched the Cobra Mech very well and it looked pretty cool.
