Not much is known about Dr. X, he is thought to have some connection to Alex "Action Man" Mann of Action Force. Though what that connection is no one is certain. Though Dr. X claims to be his older brother. What is known is that Dr. X stole his cybernetic implant technology from Mike Power after his own failure at working on it. Dr. X then started to use it on himself and selling it to Cobra to fund his plans. After Overkill started his Robot Rebellion, he sent his troopers to capture Dr. X so he could take Dr. X's knowledge and technology. But Dr. X was more then willing to work with Overkill and help to try and ensure their victory!

I figured since I was bringing in Mike Power, I should bring in another cyborg from the 12" line, so I made Dr.X here. I was going to go with the Gnagahyde head, but it looked too big on the Destro body. Zangiff worked out just as well. I painted the "X" logo over the Cobra chain on the torso and it looks pretty cool. The green was used on some of the early Dr. X figures that had a bright green "goo" in the chest and some lights and clear plastic arms/hands.
