Overkill having achieved self awareness has decided to branch out in the designs and purposes of his robotic army. He has made plenty of front line war machines to fight the combined Joe and Cobra forces. But he has also decided to go some different routes as well. He has decided to strike fear into the cities around the world. Not only do people have to fear what the big battles and the aftermath, they have some new fears. There seems to be a sharp increase in serial killings lately. The police are hard at work trying to discover the cause of this, thinking perhaps the mayhem of the war has started to have a psychological backlash creating some nut cases giving in to base urges and start killing. They are wrong. Overkill has created small robot city infiltrator teams which skulk around the shadows of the cities and hide in "plain sight" (as best as they can). From the shadows and in secluded areas such as alleys, these BATS are instructed to infiltrate and scare, but especially kill. Armed with conventional guns and blades they are supposed to kill and maim without attracting attention to the invasion of the relatively "safe" zones around the world. So far this project is exceeding expectations.

I love tinkering with the BAT figures. I have to make the arms more articulated. Then the dark figure parts led me to add on the coat ande then try on the claws. Now I had a very foreboding looking figure. Then this project started and I found the figure its home. I think the bit of crimson added to the blades and the chest armor make him look a bit more evil, if that is possible to make a robot look more evil.
