The Marquetalia's infantry troopers are selected from its national born males but it is suspected that some of them are mercenaries and others are introduced from the Cobra Vipers ranks.

The troopers act as the policemen of President Montoya and enforce whatever he orders. They are specially trained by Major Snow to protect the coca crops and guard Montoya's facilities.

Power and money are their motivators. They were the national colors in their face in order to inspire fear in the hearts of the civilians.
