After the US GI Joe team recovered Cobra's Weather Dominator device, Storm-Chaser, acting on behalf of Special Weapons Force, was brought in to help reverse engineer the machine. The Weather Dominator can create hale the size of softballs or cause instant drought or flooding with pinpoint accuracy. To counter those effects, Storm-Chaser first recognizes the anomalies and then fights fire with fire by using the SWF Weather Dominator to negate the severity of the weather system.
