Snake Eyes

Little is known about Snake Eyes prior to the Great War. During the war, Snake Eyes met a Japanese soldier name Thomas Arishakage. The two quickly became great friends, which was unusual for the quiet and reserved Snake Eyes. At the end of the war, Thomas invited Snake Eyes to come join his family business, to which Snake Eyes initial refused. When Snake Eyes arrived home to see his family he discovered that his mother, father, and twin sister had been tragically killed when a runaway steam cart crashed into their home. With no family and no where else to turn, Snake Eyes joined Thomas in the Arishakage family business. Much to Snake Eyes surprise, the family business was a ninja clan, specializing in infiltration, reconnaissance, and assassin. The two friends began training, and quickly achieved great skill. Snake Eyes soon found himself a near equal to Thomas in every aspect of their training with the exception of archery. This caught the attention of Thomas' uncle, the Hard Master, which began driving a wedge between the Snake Eyes and Thomas. Near the end of there training, the Hard Master was killed by an arrow from Thomas' bow while teaching Snake Eyes the "cloak of the chameleion." This tore the family in two, sending Snake Eyes and Thomas on separate paths. Snake Eyes returned to England and quickly made a name for himself as a mercenary, applying modern steam technology to the ancient arts he learned from the Arishakage family.

I really wanted to base this off of British Red Coat stylings, and that is where it started. I'd used the Gung Ho torso similarly before with my Nazi Storm Shadow, and new it would work great here as well. The trench came from both Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow wearing them in some of the Devils Due run. I wanted to take a similar approach between the two characters, almost like Yin and Yang. Snake Eyes has armor and steam driven weaponry, while Storm Shadow stays traditional and uses traditional weapons. I really wanted to give Snake Eyes larger goggles, but I loved this head too much not to use it.
