The Stupendous Starduster Skyfaring Show is a popular novelty among the elite, but with new threats to our nation's security, the show's owner and star aerialist chose to serve his country instead. He brought with him the Sky Hawk, the flagship of his traveling dirigible train, which has since been refitted onto a military footing.

I wanted to make both a homage to Starduster's regular togs and a Victorian nod to his circus heritage, thus I very much went to tweaking the design. The helmet and visor became a pair of pince-nez and top hat; bandolier a baldric, and the JUMP pack his slung-over-the-shoulders great coat.

Hopefully, Baldy is completely unrecognizable after my sculpted hairdo, but the most difficult part of construction was to bash the Jack Sparrow lower arms onto GI Joe uppers.

Building up the grenade launcher into something suitably Steampunk was a fun challenge also.
