It began with a mission gone wrong, terribly wrong. And in the aftermath, Flint found himself a shell of what he'd once been. Staring at the broken and bloodied corpse of his former life mate and partner, Lady Jaye, he was so stricken with grief he did the unthinkable and killed not only a teammate, but a friend as well. The bullet that had been meant for Hawk was taken by Duke, shattering bone and tearing flesh the bit of metal pierced his heart. He died with a quiet sigh, and Flint suddenly found himself on the wrong side of the Joe/ Cobra conflict. With no other choice but to spend a life in exile, he turned to the one man that could help him get revenge on the person that sent Lady Jaye to her death. And so, with a hollow sigh of defeat, Flint switched sides and joined Cobra with a firm goal in mind, the death of General Hawk. A goal that he pursues every day and every night.

Currently holding a position as a field general in charge of "Special Operations," Flint has found a new life within Cobra. When his wife died so did the part of his soul that was the most patriotic. Even though he devoutly follows Cobra's current ideals and ideologies, within him a war rages 24/ 7 as he struggles with his "dark side." He has yet to regret his decision to switch sides, but the voice of his conscience screams in defiance everyday to his current actions, but the pain and misery that has gripped his heart screams even louder and drives him to want to destroy his friends and acquaintances on the G.I. Joe team.
