Yeah, the Hot Wheels version *says* it's 1:18, but you'll never get a fig in there - and it even looks small next to the smaller 4" figs. None of the Hot Wheels 1:18 Batmobiles are able to seat figures.

I grabbed the RC 89' version and size-wise, it's not bad (it's packed away so I can't get a pic) - but it's more suitable as a background vehicle - no way to get a fig in there.

Never had a Kenner one, so can't speak to that.

so you have the hollywood rides rc one i'm waiting on?

neither my wraith car or death race mustang open for figures. i think if you can't see inside then it's not as big of deal. saying that now i'm not sure if you ever see batman through the windows of the 89 car in the movies.

actually piecing together a robin now too. dang jc for making me make stuff.

i got my rc batmobile! it measures right around 12" . it looks like a store return and has some scratches. real bad at the front of the roof "cowl" like someone ran it under a fridge at full speed . for the price i paid it doesn't matter. seller said without charger, but the cord is there inside so it might work. i don't care if it does or not. i'll get some pics as soon as i get a spot clear on my bench.

i'm happy! too good to be true price.

oh man i love it :) weird to go from not interested in batman to how bad i wanted that toybiz batmobile. i want to customize it some and the body seems pretty thick plastic for an rc car.

The dead on side view makes it look like the hood is a little too short, but overall that is a really nice looking Batmobile!

Great score!

Another (totally not 89) batmobile to keep on your radar: the early 80’s Super Powers version. Probably better suited to my 66 Batman or at least a comic blue one, but it scales nicely.

And I lucked into one in very good condition

Spoken like someone who believes they’re only making one Batman…
