Target haul yesterday and today. Stratos for $9 w/clearance & rewards and Indy wave1 figures.

A Chinese seller was selling some of the witty bitty rubber He-Man Megaconstrux figures that were supposed to come with the cancelled Advent calendar. I grabbed those while looking for something else. But then they also had figures so might as well.


I mentioned in 2Dark's thread that I picked up the Duke/CC oring pack from HasbroToyShop's ebay store.

The Dungeon Master/Vengar D&D pack from the Target sale. Still overpriced but at least not painfully so.


Lastly, retro Kenner Indiana Jones form Target as well. I got it for my Well of Souls set but now I don't want to open it.

They also had the Release N rampage set but for some reason they INCREASED the sale price from $9.99 to $13.99

Let’s see. I got the new Star Wars Vintage Collection ROTJ Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper set from Pulse. The bike is nice and the figure has the articulation to get him reasonably seated on it. Swivel-hinge hips just don’t have quite enough clearance to get him fully seated. If the foot pedals moved it would work but as is he sits like he’s riding a horse, standing slightly in the stirrups. He does havea nice double dumbbell neck peg that allows him to look ahead when stretched out on the bike. The seat issue and the price tag are my only quibbles. They could have saved some money by not carding the figure but what do I know.

Well, I promised myself that if I landed the new lucrative consulting gig (which I did last month), that I'd grab one of these the next time I saw one in the store, which I assumed would be another month or two down the road, but Target decided to be jerks and have this one in stock (the crappy Forza 5 version that nobody wants.)

So now I just have to wait ANOTHER month for Jedi Survivor to come out so I can start using it.



The perks of being in your 50s with disposable income but never maturing past 14, I guess...

And to stay on topic, I grabbed a Final Faction Huntra and a clearance can of Krylon Fusion Moss Green paint/primer while out today.

Stopped into Target again.

Picked up 5x of the Star Wars Mission Fleet Stormtrooper/Heavy Blaster units for $4 each.

Also found 2x of the McFarland 60s Batman Villains Hideout sets for $15 each.

To put me over the $50 level I grabbed four Hot Wheels cars to get $10 off my total.

Stopped at a local ReUse Center and found a windowless/doorless Chap Mei submarine. This is the yellow one with the pilot and gunner style cockpits on top and the waist gunner doors on the sides.Not a bad pick for $2. My first thought was to put it on a stage with some scale cameras and a scale 'green screen' or LED type surround to make up a quick GotG shooting set.
