Well.... somewhat new here. I've been lurking for awhile, but decided I should say hello.

Got back into seriously collecting about 3yrs ago.and in the last year, started customizing.... I only do the ARAH O-ring stuff, that I grew up with. Like most I'm sure, I started with kitbashing and now have slowly started painting. Being new to this my skills are (at least in my eyes) lacking in areas, but I feel like I'm improving. Looking at the work on here, has inspired me for sure. Some of what I've seen has just blown me away.

I tend to try and stick with early Joe idea, of fantasy mixed with a dose of reality, in my customs. Tons of ideas in my head, so now I'm working on the skills to bring them into the light.

Little about me, I currently am in the Safety game. Working as a Safety Coordinator/Manager in oil and Gas.(Texas) I worked in Law Enforcement for 15yrs and another 8 in private/corporate security. I also spent 12yrs in the Army, with the pleasure of serving in some great Units. (82nd and the Ranger Rgmt. among them) So you can guess why, my customs may seem to lean to the real world side and tactical aspects of things.

Married with Stepson, Daughter in Law, and two Grandkids. (My grandson is my lil Joe collector with me.) So anyway that's me. I look forward to talking with and learning for all those here.

welcome! this place will inspire and lead you to all kinds of fantastic places! when i found it i had no interest in fantasy and couldn't see why anyone would want to use the weird modern figures now fantasy/sci fie/horror/western and anything weird is my favorite. the modern parts are just another way to get there.
