Jonny Quest was a Hanna Barbera cartoon that aired in 1964 and 1965. It followed Jonny, his dad (Dr. Benton Quest), Race Bannon (protector of Jonny), his best friend Hadji and his dog Bandit as they went on adventures all around the world from battling lizard men and robots to discovering a Nazi hiding in a cave.

Jonny is an 11 year old adventurous American boy. He is also skilled in many areas such as Judo and scuba diving.

Hadji like Jonny is 11-years-old Kolkata and not only is he Jonny's best friend he is his adoptive brother. He seems to possess mystical powers, including snake-charming, levitation and hypnotism.

Dr. Benton Quest is Jonny's father and a scientific genius who works for the U.S. Government. He is considered one of the three top scientists in the world.

Race Bannon is a special agent from Intelligence One assigned to safeguard Jonny as a tutor, companion and all-around protector. He is an expert in judo, having a third-degree black belt and the ability to defeat notorious experts in various sporting techniques, including sumo wrestlers. He is also a pilot.
